DEC. 09' - MAY 10'. Gud man Ted!

Well, where to begin? I know here:

DEC. 09'.
Crap enough X-Mas tell you the truth got f all pressie's except a t-shirt from my sister but did enjoy coverage of the PDC World Darts though Barney never showed up in the Final, Taylor blitzing him 7-1 though I was at the Ally Pally year before to see Darth Maple claim his 3rd World Title was very enjoyable. Regards Irish Intervarsities lost in Semis to eventual Champion and was unable to take part in the Pairs' as had no partner from Independent, ah well Bobby G due to come in March. However as we left Limerick, Baker's Place the venue we travelled to Carlow to a monster exhibition in Carlow Rugby Club and of course Shorty, Fergus Shortt the new "All-Ireland University Darts Singles Champion" just couldn't resist celebrating and why wouldn't he, his here below as are I.T. Carlow Team with Professionals, Andy "The Pieman" Smith & Terry "The Bull" Jenkins and with 2006 BDO World Champion Jelle Klaason, Shorty & Ken BARLO Kavanagh with whom Shorty completed the double winning the "All-Ireland University Darts Pairs' Title".JAN 10'.
I now in a new college enjoyed Jan. exam free thank b2f and it was really uneventful 2b honest but I was absoutely delighted Ted "The Count" Hankey won his 2nd BDO World Title and that Francis "The Dutch Crown" Hoenselaar finally beat Trina Gulliver to lift the BDO Ladies' Crown!FEB. 10'.
Travelled to Inter-Counties with Galway to Castlebar though as PRO of the County Board was fairly uneventful on playing side but looked forward to Carlow & Teams IV in Carlow in March.
MARCH 10'.
Assignments are a killer ah college work doesn't get any easier, got sponsor for U.D.A.I. Masters' Cup DB Darts Ireland and had great time with Ken Sweeney who did a shop and of course a fantastic time with Bobby G & Little Richard in Brennan's Bar, without doubt best dart set-up I ever seen in a pub, and of course the Maye family enjoyed themselves, though I.T. Carlow retained the title 7-5 Best of 13 legs 1001 against L.I.T. a great day, I of course had no team so just focused on the Masters', though was really pleased that young Boycey drove Sean "Diceman" Reilly now a Lord of Sealand and Paul McHugh with Trish Doyle the trio made up the N.U.I.G. Team which I cheered on as been from galway though alas dey didn't feature. I was goin well and made in to the Final where I had to wait for my opponent Paddy Barcoe to play his Q-Finals, S-Finals and his Team matches as the man is quite the accomplished rugby player, as I awaited a Noodle dish down in Chinese down the road I was not really the same goin into the Final Best of 9 legs 1001 and was destroyed 5-2 ah well if I had 11 legs 1001 under my belt that day like Paddy probaly would of been closer but alas Paddy was victorious but I got this pic with Bobby in Dublin Airport so literally "I had the last laugh!"

April 10'. We decided to enter the Inaugural All-Ireland Darts Championships which had a Singles, Pairs, & Teams from any Pub or Club, County Team or Professional Player who usually played with their county and I was to captain the U.D.A.I. All-Ireland University All-Stars Team lets hope all our "All-Stars" turn up?
MAY 10'. The time as we all know is exam time and lets just say not my favourite time of year but the weather is a turn up for the books or not as the case may be ha..
